NEWS: Welcome back!
Happy New Year Second Grade Families,
We are so happy to back in school! We hope you had a wonderful time with your family during the break from school. Now that we are back, we are ready to learn! Gabbit will continue to come home each night with one of you. If you haven't had a chance yet, it will be coming soon!
two packages of baby (hand) wipes to school for us to stay clean and healthy. Also, tomorrow we are having a very special presentation about geometry. Rather than going on a field trip to learn about this, the field trip is coming to us! Please send $3.00 to school for this wonderful presentation, at your earliest convenience as well.
Finally, now that we are back at school we are always looking for volunteers to help in the classroom or to help do paperwork at home. If you are interested in helping, IN ANY WAY please let us know via email (jwall@saintlawrence.org), whatever it is you would like to help with. Thank you to all of you who helped create the books for the students during our break. We will have a couple more ready to send home soon, so just let us know if you are willing to help. Welcome back to St. Lawrence! We hope the remainder of our school year together is as great as the first half has been!
Sincerely,
Mrs. Wall and Mrs. Vierra

HOMEWORK:
3. HRL
4. Math worksheet-Complete the side we worked on in class.  I know it was CHALLENGING  but I think you can do it with Mom and Dad's help.  On the INCHES side of the page, please circle the important words like we did together in class today.  TRY to answer each question, but it is okay if you can't figure it out.  You can do it!!

VERY IMPORTANT INFO FOR MOM AND DAD!!!!!  If your child is planning on completing their First Reconciliation with us, you MUST complete the At-Home Activities EVERY WEEK and return them to school.  Your child will not be able to complete this Sacrament with the class if their work is not complete! Please help them be responsible with this book and work.  You should be completing these At-Home Activities WITH them.  Thank you second grade families!! =)
